Minefield Shoes MFC MFC CHECKMATE SAFETY SHOES (MATRAMINE) NSN: 8430-15-121-9857. NSN: 1385-14-508-8844/5 were developed to help army forces to safely cross minefields night and day. They are the result of several years of lab testing and much more of extensive field testing on all kinds of terrain which may be encountered. It is no surprise therefore that, after more than ten years of extensive use with IDF, the French army and most of NATO forces, not a single accident has been reported to this day. So called competitive products either propose an extremely dangerous proposal of fallacious protection in case of mine explosion (likely to happen with their design) or simply try to go around our design and patent, tampering with important features of the MFC CHECKMATE ( MATRAMINE ) and proposing fancy accessory features that have yet to be field proven of any interest.

The MFC CHECKMATE safety shoes are built on the theory of air-cushions, which support the body while reducing the pressure in relationship to the minefield. The CHECKMATE is completely portable, folds up into a small lightweight object and easily slips into a regulation army pack. The CHECKMATE is made of sturdy nylon, nylon-reinforced PVC, coated aluminium and steel alloys, the five air cushions are of specially-designed, maximum strength and resiliency. FEATURES Fully inflatable and defletable in seconds. Foldable into a small 35x16x12 cm pack. Lightweight - 2.3 kilos. Mine Safety Shoes is completely portable. Our Mine Safety Shoes are made of tough nylon, nylon-reinforced PVC; air cushions of PVC type L-152. Upper rigid frame of aluminium and steel alloys. Self-locking error-proof device with no moving parts- eliminates maintenance problems. The Mine Safety Shoes metalic parts will not interfere with mine detector apparatus. Can be used to traverse any terrain: water, mud, swamp, brush will not decrease the efficiency. Designed to adapt to the conformation necessary to overcame obstacles with maximum safety.
